Qu'est-ce qu'un microvia ?
Selon la nouvelle définition de l'IPC-T-50M, un microvia est une structure aveugle avec un rapport d'aspect maximum de 1:1, se terminant sur un terrain cible avec une profondeur totale ne dépassant pas 0,25 mm mesurée depuis la feuille de capture de la structure jusqu'à le terrain cible.
L'IPC-6012 définit également la structure d'un Microvia.
Le Microvia est une structure aveugle avec un rapport d'aspect maximum de 1:1 entre le diamètre du trou et la profondeur, avec une profondeur totale ne dépassant pas 0,25 mm, mesurée depuis la surface jusqu'au tampon ou au plan cible.
Généralement, NCAB considère que l'épaisseur diélectrique entre la surface et la plage de référence est comprise entre 60 et 80 um.
Les dimensions du diamètre du microvia vont de 80 à 100 microns. Le RATIO typique est compris entre 0,6 : 1 et 1 : 1, idéal 0,8 : 1
