The storage environment temperature should be controlled between 5℃ - 35℃, and the relative humidity should be between 30% - 70%. Avoid direct sunlight and exposure to corrosive gases. The storage area should be clean, dry, and well-ventilated. PCBA should be placed on anti-static shelves to prevent static electricity accumulation.

Under the condition of meeting the storage environment requirements, the storage period of PCBA packaged in anti-static bags is generally 1 - 2 years; the storage period of PCBA packaged with blister trays and anti-static bags can reach 2 - 3 years. After exceeding the storage period, the electrical performance of PCBA and the integrity of the packaging materials need to be rechecked.

Once damaged packaging is found, transportation should be stopped immediately, and the appearance and electrical performance of PCBA should be inspected. If the packaging materials are damaged but the PCBA is not, new packaging materials can be used for repackaging; if the PCBA is damaged, professional inspection and repair are required, and it can be transported or used again only after passing the inspection.

The costs mainly include material costs (label materials, packaging materials), printing costs, processing costs (label production, packaging assembly), transportation costs, and warehousing costs. Among them, material costs account for 40% - 60% of the total cost, and printing and processing costs account for 20% - 30%.

The cost can be reduced by optimizing the label design, reducing the number of complex patterns and colors to lower printing costs; selecting cost-effective label materials, such as using PP materials instead of PET materials when performance requirements are met; increasing the order quantity to reduce the unit cost through economies of scale.

Consider both cost and performance aspects. Costs include procurement costs, transportation costs, and warehousing costs; performance indicators include the temperature resistance, abrasion resistance, and adhesion of labels, as well as the anti-static performance, cushioning performance, and protective strength of packaging. By comparing the cost and performance of products from different suppliers, select the solution with the highest cost-performance ratio.

Labels should use high-temperature resistant PET materials with a temperature resistance level of not less than 150℃, and high-temperature resistant adhesives should also be selected. Packaging materials should also be high-temperature resistant, such as high-temperature resistant blister trays (PP materials) and corrugated cardboard boxes (treated for high-temperature resistance). During packaging, ensure that labels and packaging materials do not release harmful substances at high temperatures, which may affect the performance of PCBA.

Labels can use PET or PP materials with good waterproof performance and be coated with a moisture-proof coating on the surface. During packaging, place the PCBA in a moisture-proof bag and add desiccants (such as silica gel desiccants, the amount depends on the volume of PCBA and the packaging space).
